This is a majorly maximalist journal for lovers of the shabby ivory/Victorian aesthetic. The bookboards are covered in a fabulous fabric printed with old script and further hand-decorated with patterns and tints. A metal holder allows you to add a personalized label. Inside there are tons of pages made from hand-dyed and decorated papers, and vintage and antique ephemera. A consistant decoration theme flows throughout with the same floral pattern used on the cover implemented and many different ways, from faded tints to thick gesso textures. Lots of pockets and places to tuck little treasures as well as different-sized pages to keep things interesting. There are even tiny notebooks and folders inside that come out to be filled with surprises.
